Youth Statement
Our youth pastor’s goal is to educate our youth, no matter their age or how long they’ve been a Christian, in a way that is easily understood yet is challenging them to grow deeper in their faith. As a youth group, we get involved in local missions, evangelism, and discipleship. We believe in mentoring our youth while training and encouraging them to become mentors to their own peers as well as their families. We strive to give opportunities for the youth to experience their personal path that God is calling them on.
Our mission for the PVCC youth is to encourage unity through a Christ centered community of believers. We are incredibly blessed with a supportive group of leaders at PVCC that help with our youth group and make events like our Summer Camp, Winter Retreat, and Miles for Messiah 5K fundraiser possible.
About
Our youth group is for students from 7th to 12th grade. We meet in PVCC’s Family Life Center on Wednesday nights at 7 o’clock and Sunday nights at 6 o’clock where the youth can hang out and play basketball, volleyball, wiffle ball, or just chat and enjoy snacks before and after our lesson time. We try to create a warm environment that is welcoming for all youth that attend.
