Justin Henson preaches on a story from the bible that we are all familiar with, David and Goliath. Focusing on David’s journey, he poses the question, “are you prepared?” David was prepared for the battle against Goliath not because he trained to fight giants, but because he had been faithful in the smaller things God had entrusted him with leading up to the battle. Justin reminds us that God prepares us in the same way—through our faithfulness in everyday responsibilities—so that when challenges arise, we are equipped and ready to face our own giants.
